Locked.

mysteriouslock-194299Saw them lavish all they had

Cards on floor, dirty jokes and loud laughs

Wings, crispy and fried

Bottles of alcohol, all sorts of champagne and wines

Thrown around,lying around

some still full..some drained till its last

oh how this little girl wondered, which one she should pick

first of them all

‘what good friends’ they said

‘this is life’ the best one they dreamt

Companions so fanciful

Never ending talks of money, power and their own rules.

‘Don’t jump if you can’t fly..’ the lesson she learnt

watching 2 adults regret all their lives

Having lost all that they owned

Millions and back to nothing..one house still on bank loan

waiting

‘Never trust. No one’he said, as he walked away to some foreign land to pay off their debts

‘Never trust. Noone’ she said, as she stood back to live no matter how their pasts ended.

And then began the circle, the cycle of blame, hate and revenge

‘He led me..’ ‘she led me..’ the dramas..please let us be spared.

‘You have to do more’

what else is more..little minds don’t understand

‘don’t hit us..don’t hit him..you wil make us go insane’ the pitiful cries

But no one listens..and time winds forward

While they stand still frozen..locked inside that room in that dark altar
